i am 31yrs. old pregnant I want to go back to school but so does my child’s father.We both want to better our self for this kid and the 2 more he wants.. I quit school once when working on psychology. I know that is like a 4yr degree and I have problems sticking with things. The only other thing I would want to do is nursing. anybody know how long that takes plus I owe school loans too, My b- dad however is already great with mechanics , fixing cars and crap. He wants school too. We talked about electrician school and he just wants to work and be able to support his family since he has no loans I can get him easily started with grants and loans and would love to stay home with the kids.What would you all do and any school ideas like ones that are hands on and actually find you work when you graduate? So about all this toyota recalls… They made a mistake, they are fixing the problem. Give them a break. At least they aren’t turning their backs on their customers.. (cough cough Ford). I don’t hate any car makers in fact if you can make a car that can get 30 mpg+ and look nice, drive nice, and won’t die/break down early. So reading blogs and comments on cnn I am seeing a huge pattern where people say things such as BUY AMERICAN DONT BUY JAP SHIT.. I really dont understand where they are coming from.. are they feeling threathened or they afraid they might lose their jobs? It’s straight up black and white called economics. If american car companies can’t make cars people want but the japanese and europeans can americans won’t buy american cars. The Japanese historically have made decent, reliable, and cheap cars. well now. There’s this 18 year old girl in one of my LVN program classes and we used to get a long great until we split off into different clinical groups. I found out this morning that she has been talking about me behind my back. She keeps on saying that she thinks I’m a damn liar and that she doesn’t think my boyfriend exists. She also had the nerve to say that I was ugly and the only reason guys talked to me was because of my car. Well last week i had spring show which caused alot of stress like tons. then because it was causing alot of stress and stuff i kept forgetting things which scared me which caused more stress and then i kept thinking how im not ready to be a senior and how my life isnt going to amount to anything because i dont have a car and i dont know what im planning to do in college, but i do have a job and i do have a boyfriend. So when i went to preform in spring show(really expensive dance thing, have one every year) i popped my hip out of place and then back in(extremely stressful and painful) but after everything was taken care pf ben(the boyfriend ) and i wanted to spend some time together to make me feel better, so we parked near my house and then we sat in his car and talked a little kissing but thats it. I’m a junior in high school and my cousin who’s a freshman (supposed to be a sophomore) just moved here a couple of months ago and now we go to same school. I though this would be a chance for me to help her bring up her grades from teen-grades to at least a c+ or b (that’s hopeful). She has ALWAYS done bad in school though. Ever since day 1, I can remember even as kids knowing she needed help and always attempting to play teacher, helping her remember simple math, etc, etc. And now, it’s still like that in high school, only I know damn straight that grades do matter if you want to go to college and get a better job, you know the drill on that. Everytime I ask her if she has homework she says no, which I know is pure bullshit because nobody doesn’t have homework EVERY SINGLE DAY. so about 5 weeks ago i made a horrible decision to go driving after i had too much to drink. I ended up totaling out my car but was uninjured. Upon the police arriving i refused the BAC test and was thrown in jail. When i refused the test the officier got really untolerant with me and kinda yanked my arm behind my back and then slammed me against my car shoving on the cuffs. Once he slammed me against my car i got pretty pissed off n basically turned around and elbowed him off me a bit but nothing force-full, i continued to talk a little shit for about 5 minutes but nothing serious. I was charged with resisting arrest and a DUI. After speaking with a lawyer he said i would face up to 10 days in jail for the DUI but he could get it down to about 2 days, and he said for the resisting i could serve up to 90 days.
