In my experience, whenever a common sense solution is suggested to resolve a problem faced by a society, or in other words, a “greater good” solution–many of those solutions are dismissed (usually quite quickly) as being “socialist” or having a “socialist” agenda. So I’m curious, when we try to come up with solutions that benefit all of a society–isn’t that a “socialist” approach from the get-go?
