Question by nebulajr@ymail.com: Christians, If Jesus’ death is the final sin sacrifice? and blood offering to be accepted by God did somebody fail to tell Him or His prophets? If indeed Jesus came as the final sacrifice to atone for the sins of the world, why do The Holy Scriptures proclaim that the Third Temple will be built and sacrifices resumed during the Messianic era? The vast majority of average Christians are completely ignorant of these prophecies, as they have been cleverly hidden by their ministers. Notice the clear teachings of The Holy Scriptures regarding this: “Even those I will bring to My holy mountain, and make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices will be acceptable on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” (Isaiah 56:7) “From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia My worshipers, My dispersed ones will bring My offerings.” (Zephaniah 3:10) “All the flocks of More...

Question by The Right Path: Christians, do you agree this is NOT a biblical contradiction? I am a Christian and challenging skeptics will actually work to increase your faith. Here is another attack on the Bible and I want to hear your rebuttals to the attack: _________________________________________________________ All through the Old Testament, there are stories of animal sacrifices that were both commanded and savored by Yahweh. The book of Leviticus, in fact, is for the most part a catalog of the various sacrifices that Yahweh required of his “chosen people.” Here and there, however, we see indications that some biblical writers were in disagreement with this practice. The prophet Jeremiah even claimed that Yahweh said, “For in the day that I brought your ancestors out of Egypt, I did not speak to them or command them concerning burnt offerings and sacrifices” (Jer. 7:22). _________________________________________________________ This is NOT a contradictio More...

Question by Blatant Obfuscation: Many Christians don’t understand what Darwin said vs what social Darwinsts said why? I watched the movie Expelled for the first time and noticed that social Darwinism was confused with Darwin’s Natural Selection. Maybe Ben Stein did this on purpose I don’t know but the sick philosophy of Herbert Spencer has nothing to do with Darwin’s theory of Natural Selection. Ben Stein blended the two together in the movie calling them Darwinism…is he NUTS??? Now he has several people thinking they are one and the same..THEY ARE NOT …why all the obfuscation by Stein??. To all “Christians” on this site: Darwin was a Christian Natural Philosopher that was used as a poster boy by the insane people such as Herbert Spencer. Spencer took what Darwin said totally out of context and he twisted Darwin’s words. it was Spencer that created the phrase “Survival of the Fittest”. This later caused a movement in the More...

THIS VIDEO WAS NOT POSTED BY ANY MEMBER OF THE GROUP IN THE VIDEO. HOWEVER, THIS IS THE OFFICIAL STATEMENT WE HAVE DECIDED TO MAKE ABOUT OUR EFFORTS TO JUDGE OUR NEIGHBORS. PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE THING. Last Friday night, our team of thirteen people, mostly ranging from eighteen to twenty-two years old, left the house around 5:30 pm to head to the Castro District as we have done for the majority of Friday nights for the past three years. Even though scripture says in Matthew 6:5 “And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues, and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by men.” We don’t really think that applies to us, because we went on the street corners so that we could judge our neighbors who are sinners to us. The Bible doesn’t apply to us because we are Christians. The new and old testaments don’t apply when you are forgiven your sins. We can do what we want. More...

by Fergal OP Question by Eliese GabriĆ«lle: If Premarital sex is an abomination than why do many Christians still commit the sin? You don’t have to read all the verses I posted. “Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a man commits are outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body. Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” (1 Corinthians 6:18-20) “But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people.” (Ephesians 5:3) “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderer More...

Why are Christians confused?

posted by admin

by ressaure Question by DanCorb: Why are Christians confused? Christians here CONSTANTLY do two things. 1. They CONSTANTLY mention the Ten Commandments. They say that those Ten Commandments are the most important rules and that we should live our lives by those rules. 2. They CONSTANTLY tell us that they don’t live their life by the old testament, they are “people of jesus, new testament people”. Whenever an atheist quotes something from the old testament that they don’t like to hear, then they say that they only follow the new testament. Then they will continue to go on quoting the Ten Commandments…. but weren’t the Ten Commandments laid out in the OLD TESTAMENT? Hypocrisy? Confused? Ignorant? You decide. Question by Savage serenity: A question for my fellow Christians: what can serve as the barometer for this purpose? A handful of Christians like to play the game of “Oh, he/she is not a true Christian.” They point their fingers, and shake their heads in contempt. I thought about this after reading this question: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100115210813AAc6IB7 So if you are one of the people who have accused someone else of not being a “true Christian,” I implore you- please, enlighten me. What are the criteria for which we must base this judgment? How can we determine who is and who is not saved? How are we supposed to tell if someone is not a “true Christian?” Some of you do not know me, and so the meaning of my question might be obscure to you. I ask some pretty radical questions sometimes. I am not afraid of asking questions. I am not afraid of questioning God, authority, the news, the media, the government, or anything else. I More...
