Question by Number 23(631 connection): Why doesnt Pat Riley realize that we dont need LeBron to win? It seems to me that Pat Riley is obsessed with getting LeBron to Miami, but I dont know if he realizes that 3 guys alone wont score a combined 90+ points, for an entire season. Its just way too much work.Plus,if you think LeBron is making a big deal about his free agency, imagine how he’ll be when Bosh or Wade dont pass him the ball?LeBron belongs on a team that’s made just for him.If not,he could go “Kobe Bryant” times 10. Best answer: Answer by thunder2sysWhen will you learn the truth about professional sports? its has nothing to do with winning. its a business first, 2nd, and 3rd. its about winning as a secondary concern. Getting LeBron James will sell out every night, sell out shirts, concessions, luxury boxes, team events, etc. for years and years to come. This has nothing to do with basketball, but everything to do with the Miami Heat CORPORATION making mo More...

by sludgegulper Question by future: Why don’t people against “socialism” send their letters using UPS or Fedex? That’s the obvious choice for the socialist warrior, isn’t it? (at 8-9 dollars a pop.) Using the government supported phone system to send email? What a bunch of Socialists!!! I’m making a point obviously – the government does certain things very well. by ChrisInKW Question by Ua: Why do we call them “liberals” when they don’t believe in liberty? Just wondeirng. Sounds like a lot of you got pretty defensive without actually answering the question. You don’t believe in liberty–if you did, you wouldn’t be pushing the government to control our lives. You hate individualism! It’s the conservatives that fight for freedom and equality. Question by neil s: So Republicans don’t want “socialism,” but say it’s the governments place to create jobs? Shouldn’t they be blaming the invisible hand of the market for unemployment? It’s not like the industries that failed were regulated. So of course, Durp, you were anti-Bush, since he made everything he touched worse than he said it would be. Right? by mobo85 Question by Saj: I don’t like Obama, does that make me a bad person? I was siting in my friend’s car with other friends and they started to talk about how “great” Obama is. I don’t think he’s so great, so I say “I wanted McCain to win the election.” Suddenly, all hell broke loose. They were saying “What!? What is wrong with you?! Loser! You hate black people?!” I am so fricken sick of people saying this to me just because I don’t like him. I didn’t insult him or anything, I just said, I wanted McCain to win the election, and that I don’t like Obama. So, political opinion isn’t valued in this country anymore? Or are people so ignorant and stupid? Best answer: Answer by Bob LoblawNope. Add your own answer in the comments! More...

Question by Solomon: Liberals are always saying “you don’t know what Socialism means” so is this accurate? One of the greatest sources of confusion and deception is the difference between leftists, progressives, socialists, communists and fascists. I thought about this as I caught a glimpse of the Oct. 2 “One Nation” march on Washington. The participants proudly marched with banners, signs and placards reading “Socialists,” “Ohio U Democratic Socialists,” “International Socialists Organization,” “Socialist Party USA,” “Build A Socialist Alternative” and other signs expressing support for socialism and communism. They had stands where they sold booklets under the titles of “Marxism and the State,” “Communist Manifesto,” “Four Marxist Classics,” “The Road to Socialism” and similar titles. The gathering had the support of the AFL-CIO, Service Employees More...

by Socialism Expo Question by Brad: My car says “Just say no to Socialism”. Two men came up to me and said “If you don’t like it, get out”? Two men came up to me at a gas station, and said to me “If you don’t like this country why don’t you just get out”. As much as I wanted to open up a discussion, given the situation I decided it was safer not to- physically safer. I just smiled and got in my car and drove away. My question is- How is “saying no to socialism” equating to “get out of the country”? Isn’t it the other way around, since socialism is in Europe and Canada, but there is no other country as capitalistic as the US? I don’t intend this to be a jerkish or partisan conversation, because I really am one up for discussion- however, as much as I just want to “ignore it”, I can’t help but wonder what I’m missing? Do people think we are socialist and are trying to make i More...

In 1961 Ronald Reagan warned the public of socialism and how it can creep in slowly. His words ring eerily true today, im my opinion even more true today than ever before in this country’s history. This audio was aired by Glenn Beck on his radio program on 8/28/09. It is happening, people. It is happening right now. Please put the party loyalty aside, either party, and look at the facts.
