by Mr G’s Travels Question by Holly Golightly: Why are Xians so opposed to “socialism,” but when one of their own fails, we’re supposed to bail them out? Such as Stephen Baldwin. He’s filing for bankruptcy, but instead of suggesting that he get a job (like the guy who played Tommy on “Eight is Enough”—he cleaned toilets when he ran out of money), the Xians are asking people to just give Baldwin money. Question by Godless Heathen: Are Conservatives capable of forming an argument more complex than, “SOCIALISM!”, “COMMUNISM!”, “AMERICA!”? Best answer: Answer by Curtis 1911Yes,,,,,I call obama the “anti-capitalist”! obama is only interested in saving or creating big government and big labor union jobs. While the private sector jobs are being lost by the millions per month. This is being done on purpose, obama has lost or destroyed over 37 million jobs. Because jobless people are more likely to depend on the government and support obamacare, and everyone getting a government paycheck votes for democrats. Plus we all know big labor union gives big money only to the democrat party. Know better? Leave your own answer in the comments! More...
Question by longhaired freaky person: Why do conservatives think that Greece’s economic crisis was caused by its so-called “socialism”? Damn those unions for financing all those sub-prime mortgages! lmao I’m saying capitalism is the problem. In the United States and Greece. by pfig Question by Case: Do the people who attack “socialism” really hate socialism or is it state capitalism they despise? Since all previous regimes that called themselves “socialist” were clearly state capitalism, perhaps they should be directing their anger at that. I’m socialist and I do not support big government. I support the abolition of governments worldwide and the establishment of a resource-based society that fosters community well being while ensuring the development of the individual as well. There is no coercion by either government nor by economics. There is no exploitation. It is a society in which all people pursue their own desires that ultimately benefit the community, and all resources are used much more efficiently than the waste that is inevitable under a profit-based system. Therefore we will not produce items that do not intend to last, cause severe environmental damage, while neglecting the starving people of potential resource More...
